MikroTik CSS318-16G-2S+IN 16-Port Gigabit Ethernet Switch with 2x 10G SFP+

Description

The MikroTik CSS318-16G-2S+IN is a compact 16-port Gigabit Ethernet switch designed for small business networks, home labs, and office environments that need reliable connectivity without the size of a full 24-port switch.

It features 16 Gigabit RJ45 ports and 2x 10G SFP+ uplink ports, allowing high-speed connections to core routers, servers, or aggregation switches. Its compact 10-inch form factor makes it ideal for installations where rack space is limited while still offering enterprise-level switching performance.

The CSS318 can be mounted in 10-inch racks, standard 19-inch racks, or installed side-by-side, allowing two units to fit within a single 1U rack space. This makes it a flexible solution for growing networks that require scalable switching capacity.

The switch runs MikroTik SwOS, a lightweight web-based operating system that provides essential Layer 2 management features through an easy-to-use browser interface.

Key management features include:

• Port-to-port forwarding
• Broadcast storm control
• MAC filtering
• VLAN configuration
• Traffic mirroring
• Bandwidth limitation
• Adjustable MAC and IP header fields

The CSS318 is designed to be both energy efficient and reliable, consuming approximately 10W without attachments and up to 13W under full load. Its low power consumption makes it an excellent choice for continuous network operation in offices, labs, and edge deployments.

Ideal For

• Small and medium-sized business networks
• Home lab environments
• Rack-mounted networking installations
• Edge switching deployments
• Expanding network infrastructure

Compact, scalable, and cost-effective, the MikroTik CSS318-16G-2S+IN delivers reliable Gigabit switching with high-speed 10G uplinks in a flexible rack-friendly design.
